Our Vision

A knowledge society where opportunities and challenges made by advances in communication and information are addressed with the creation, access, preservation and sharing of information and knowledge which enable people to develop their full potential in an atmosphere of democracy, justice and equality.

 
Our Mission

To promote the unhampered flow of ideas by word and image and to maintain, increase and diffuse knowledge, through  democratic discussion and consultation with all stakeholders, as outlined in the 2005 UNESCO World Report “Towards Knowledge Societies”.
